Description

Last update of pureos-artwork was about 19 months ago.

Currently in crimson:

  • GRUB shows Debian artwork.

  • The user avatar in GNOME login page shows Debian Artwork.

  • The user avatar in GNOME account creation and management page shows Debian Artwork.

  • The about page in GNOME control center shows Debian artwork

(neofetch shows the correct artwork :) )

Related to to updating pureos-artwork is also the wallpaper for crimson. Currently we use the byzantium wallpaper. We need a new one for crimson

This already has a separate issue to create the new wallpaper here: https://source.puri.sm/pureos/core/pureos-artwork/-/issues/2

An issue that I encountered with GNOME 43 and wallpapers is that when you switch to darkmode on GNOME 43 in crimson, the wallpaper switches from the default wallpaper provided by pureos-artwork to GNOME upstream default wallpaper.
